Girls love tea, they really do. Every female I have ever known has had an obsessive (teetering on perverse) fascination with collecting little bags of tea and keeping said tea in a metal box. It didn’t bother me at first, only all of these tea-females have something in common, and it only recently struck me: all of these metal boxes EXCLUDED the finest tea of them all: Yorkshire Tea, yes, “The way tea used to be”. That’s not to say Read the rest of this entry »
Girls And Tea = Be Careful
The Real Customer Service

Time, eh? You look back and see what was what, and hopefully live and learn. When I was working in a small corner-shop at the age of sixteen, and an old-lady argued with me ferociously because “back in my day five-pounds-fifty was actually seven-pounds-ninety-two in ‘modern silly money’”, she was right, of course. What could I say? Just a mere boy! When I worked on the chicken-counter of a popular (unmentionable) supermarket and a chicken–one of my darn excellent, perfectly Read the rest of this entry »
All Ages Welcome

I was worried until I read this, really worried.
Being a male in his late twenties, I have to say I was fairly concerned about owning up to being a massive fan of the infamous TV show Murder She Wrote. I had an idea that admitting to such a thing was a bit like being a heavy-weight boxer and admitting to being a secret cross-dresser, or admitting that I have always found Margaret Thatcher to be the most gorgeous Read the rest of this entry »
Oh Dear…

Miley Cyrus, Tiger Woods, what do they have in common? No, I’m not suggesting that Tiger is at the heart of yet another unspeakable scandal; all I’m suggesting is that there’s something about celebrity and names which seems to be growing, and its not looking good.
Miley Cyrus, to me, sounds like a cleaning product; something to clean the toilet bowl with, for example. While Tiger would best be suited to a trapeze artist at the circus, or to, I Read the rest of this entry »
Helium.Com and Freelance Writing

As a budding freelance writer, I can think of nothing that has served me so well in my early stages of my career than Helium.com. Offering those who wish to write a chance to get published straight away after signing up and having many thousands of titles to write to is fantastic.
Helium is a place where one can write basically what they want and learn their trade. With a booming and helpful community, it is a great place to Read the rest of this entry »
I’m Missing Link!

In its day, the Nintendo Gameboy had a great selection of titles. It was amazing just how big some of these games actually were. When you think about something like ‘Super Mario Land’ or ‘Donkey Kong Country’ they were impressively large for such a tiny game cartridge.
Another huge adventure to complete was ‘Zelda: Link’s Awakening’. I think that most owners of Gameboys owned this game at one time or another and if not, they will certainly have played it. Read the rest of this entry »
A True ‘Fable’.

Imagine what it would be like if someone made a medieval version of ‘Grand Theft Auto’. You could still have missions to complete, bad guys to kill and targets to achieve. Well, probably the closest you are going to get to this is with ‘Fable’…
You start the game as a young boy and, after training at ‘The Guild’, you must then make your way through the world completing whichever missions you choose. The reason I liken it to ‘Grand Read the rest of this entry »
On The Way To Grandmother’s House…

Do you like weird things? Things that make your imagination work overtime?
Imagine a computer game that looks and feels as if it were created by David Lynch in one of his darker moments; a place with no defining line between the real and the unreal, the memory and the dream, the living and the dead.
Close your eyes and picture-
A forest.
A path.
A girl in red.
And a big, b Read the rest of this entry »
Skin Care For Men.

When you think of skin care you normally associate it with women but there are a lot of men who like to look after themselves as well. Some women might see this as being a bit ‘poncey’ but it is better than men not bothering with their appearances. Face it ladies, which would you find most appealing; a guy who looks after his hair and skin or a grease monkey with food stains down his shirt???
Anyway fellas, if you Read the rest of this entry »
Edit Optimisation Save The Day(Again)!

I was quite surprised to come across this post. This is the second time in a couple of days that I have read about people from ‘Edit Optimisation’ sorting out a website that has been hacked. People like this must really know what they are doing; I wouldn’t have a clue where to start!
If someone hacks into your website then it must be very annoying; especially when they are taking away all of your hard work and Read the rest of this entry »
